What happens

From submission to display

  1. You submit the work

    Artwork plus a short story and the context it was drawn for. You confirm you own the work or have permission to submit it.

  2. The studio reviews it

    Every submission is read, by a person. Review covers whether the work reads on a real tile at the size it will be made, not how it looks on a screen.

  3. It may be displayed

    Displayed work appears in the design library. Display is a decision about the library, not about production.

  4. Selection and terms are agreed by email

    If the work is taken further, permissions, selection and any commercial terms are discussed and recorded by email before anything is produced.

What is not being promised

An honest submission page names its limits. These are the studio’s.

Terms are agreed by email Selection, permissions and any commercial terms are discussed and recorded with the studio by email.
Display can be withdrawn Either side can end display; production rights require a separate recorded agreement.
Where a design is enabled, the recorded agreement governs. Nothing on this page creates a contract beyond review.
