A future wood direction.
Custom wood development and the request process remain open for discussion. No production or order commitment is implied.
Collections directoryThe position
Four grains are on the table. A fifth is a conversation.
Development order is not a queue
Asking for a wood does not reserve a place in a development order, and there is no priority list.
Feasibility decides first
A wood is developed only if the material can hold colour and finish consistently. That is a material question before it is a demand question.
Requests are read
Every request is read by the studio, and they do shape which material is examined next.
Request
Request a wood
Describe the wood you would want, and where you would play on it. Requests are read by the studio rather than counted automatically.
The studio service is not connected. Nothing is submitted and no development is started.
Interface only · no submission
Limits
What is not yet known
No grain
A wood without a developed material has no honest colour reference, and we will not publish a palette we cannot make.
No date
Development order is decided by feasibility, so no timeline is stated.
No price
A material that does not exist cannot be costed.
No commitment
Sending a request does not order, reserve or entitle anything.
